Responsibilities include:

* Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.

* Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.

* Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.

* Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.

* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Financial1081 - Supervising Sr. Accountant

The overall responsibilities include supporting the Finance Department with all accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, ad hoc reporting and documentation of all of the above.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Responsible for all aspects of fixed assets, which include the reporting and tracking of all company assets.

· Coordinate with operations to ensure all capital projects are properly identified and all costs captured.

· Monitors and maintains fixed asset count schedule for the company and ensures compliance with company policies.

· Supervise the fixed asset Staff Accountant and provide day to day leadership and ensure a high-performance, customer service oriented work environment that supports achieving the department’s mission, objective and values.

· Coordinate month end journal entries related to payroll transactions and other standard entries.

· Performs analyses on fixed assets, payroll and other ad hoc analysis as directed.

· Perform account reconciliations and general ledger entries.

· Improve a record keeping system and maintain supporting documentation for an accounting filing system.

· Works with external auditors to complete year-end as well as quarterly audits.

· Assists in the preparation of regulatory filings.

· Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Core Competencies

Financial Management

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent (CPA preferred)

· 4 to 8 years of related accounting experience.

· Excellent Documentation Skills

· Advanced experience with Microsoft Office is required.

· License as a CPA is desirable but not required.

· Oracle and the Fixed Asset Management Solutions a plus.

Financial1111-Accounts Receivable Clerk
Temporary to Hire position

·Report directly to the VP of Accounting
·Apply C.O.D. cash to the computer system on a daily basis
·Research on a timely basis all C.O.D. orders where there is a discrepancy in the amount of money collected.
·Process credit card and C.O.D. transactions on a daily basis. Reconcile with the credit card company that all credit card transactions have been performed.
·Prepare a daily deposit for money collected and apply these payments towards customer account balances maintained on our computer system.
·Make copies of invoices and statements as needed; prepare both for mailing along with postage.
·Provide Sales and Senior Management various A/R reports as requested.
·Maintain proper tax-exempt files for our customer base. Request certificates from customers when they are not provided for tax exempt jobs.
·Field customer service phone calls in a professional manner and exercise due diligence when a problem arises.
·Scan delivery tickets and invoices on a daily basis into company computer system for history purposes. Verify that each document has been accounted for and has been properly archived for future use.
·Lien waiver generation as needed
·Assist VP of Accounting in other back office duties as time may warrant.
·Generate debit & credit memos generated by computer as needed.

The ideal candidates will possess two or more years auditing experience in a public and/or corporate environment and carry a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. A CPA/CIA/CISA Certification is a definite plus.
