Financial1299 - IT Compliance Analyst

Special emphasis is placed on understanding the technology, processes, risks, and controls often at an enterprise level, relating to compliance, operations, and accounting / financial management processes. Our client also provides complementary services related to audit and assurance of other forms of technology risk such as network security, privacy, data management and IT due diligence, as well as more operational consulting related to the effective use and management of technology to improve business performance.

 

 

Major Responsibilities

·                      Assist in determining the privacy audit and assurance consulting services scope, audit objectives and work to be performed

·         Perform privacy engagements and other IT audit and consulting services

·         Review deliverables and reports

·         Leadership in the development of methodology/protocol for service delivery

·         Business development through networking and new “product” development

·         Assist in developing Team Members

·         Direct communication with clients and staff

·         Supervise the IT audit staff assigned to the engagement (if designated as In-Charge)

·         May provide training or act as a mentor to less experienced team members

 

Preferred Experience/Background/Skills

·         Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or related degree

·         CIPP, CIPP/G, CIPP/C, and/or CIPP/IT designation preferred

·         A minimum of three years of current and/or recent experience in compliance and/or privacy analysis (e.g., HIPAA, GLBA, GAPP)

·         Experience analyzing and/or monitoring privacy throughout the privacy information life cycle

·         Experience with developing and/or monitoring privacy program activities including providing notice,  choice, access, and dispute resolution

·         Excellent communications skills and comfortable interacting with technical system management personnel and C level management

·         Experience using/directing use of privacy analysis tools

·         Highly motivated, self-starter, strong ability to learn, adapt and function as strong team player

·         Commitment to exceptional client service and creative problem-solving ability with a consultancy mindset

Candidates must possess at least four years of experience as an Information Systems or Information Technology auditor and must have or be willing to obtain Certified Information Systems Auditor certification

 

Responsibilities:

  • Audit Information Systems operations, application development projects and technology infrastructure development projects to determine adherence to established firm procedures and policies and sound risk-management practices.
  • Responsible for working independently on own projects, as well as acting as leader/mentor to less experienced auditors on the team.

  • A master's degree is preferable but not required.

  • The candidate must have or be willing to obtain Certified Information Systems Auditor certification.
  • Other technical certifications, such as Microsoft certifications, are highly desirable.
  • The CPA designation is a plus.
  • Public accounting experience is a plus.

·Apply C.O.D. cash to the computer system on a daily basis
·Research on a timely basis all C.O.D. orders where there is a discrepancy in the amount of money collected.
·Process credit card and C.O.D. transactions on a daily basis. Reconcile with the credit card company that all credit card transactions have been performed.
·Prepare a daily deposit for money collected and apply these payments towards customer account balances maintained on our computer system.
